Getting Back into the Classroom

Week 1 of the Spring term is in the books. I figure that I'll resume my normal routine of just writing on Fridays since the schedule is a little busier. This was a bit of a hectic week. Poor weather forced us to reschedule games starting at the beginning of this week and almost all of us missed the first couple of our classes. For the most part we are lucky at North Central to have very understanding professors and they appreciate the communication between athletes whenever there are conflicts. On a personal basis I am very fortunate to learn from great History professors such as Dr. Ann Keating and Dr. Will Barnett who are both knowledgeable, fair, and kind people. I am able to share a common interest with Dr. Keating since we are both avid Cubs fans and if future Cardinal players ever have the opportunity to take one of her classes I highly recommend it.

Now to the baseball diamond. We unfortunately dropped a couple of games to Augustana and Wheaton this past week. But in the CCIW the challenges keep coming and we have Illinois Wesleyan this weekend. If we can do the things that we are capable then we will come out on top and that would be huge since we haven't beaten IWU in half a decade. This is a great opportunity to turn things around this weekend! I hope everyone is enjoying yet another "Fantastic Friday." Have a great weekend!!
