Lab Notes: Summer Edition, 7/31

On a day when the Twitterverse may explode due to the MLB Trade Deadline, Lab Notes: Summer Edition takes a look at the Canton Terriers and Shannon Fence other Terriers of the Tri-State League.

JD Ingalls (@JDIngalls), Shannon Fence - JD appeared in four of the Storm's final seven games after returning from injury and continued on his comeback trail by logging a significant number of innings as a starter this summer.

Heath Kelley, Shannon Fence - Heath resumed his duties as a dual-position player by racking up time on the mound and in right field. In addition to his main role this past spring in the bullpen, Heath made a few starts for Shannon Fence.

Patrick Kilway (@PatrickKilway), Canton Terriers - Pat hit .346 this summer with eight doubles, 17 runs scored, 12 RBI and notched a .894 OPS.

Logan Nordquist (@Logan_Nordquist), Canton Terriers - Logan posted a 2-2 record with a 4.38 ERA in 24.2 IP for the Terriers. He held opposing hitters to a .277 average and had a 1.257 WHIP.

Pat Sinko, Shannon Fence - Pat continued the trend of Storm relievers getting time as a starting pitcher during the summer. In his third season with Shannon Fence, Pat worked out of the bullpen but saw significant time as a starter.
