Last week we took a look at the Great Lakes League. This week, we'll look into the Atlantic Baseball Confederation and the Prospect League. Storm players have made their mark in both respective leagues last season and are making their mark as well. Here are the latest updates on a few more Storm players during the summer months.
Doug Fox (@dfox508), Toms River Hurricanes - Doug is coming off his second-straight All-GLIAC season and made his way out to the Jersey Shore to get in his summer work. Lake Erie fans would best know Dooouuug for coming out of the bullpen, but the to-be senior added starting pitcher to his resume, getting the ball in several first innings instead of just the ninth. Doug is starting the Hurricanes opening playoff game tonight.
Adam Beach (@BeachAdam), Lorain County Ironmen - Adam rejoined the Ironmen for his second straight summer and has been their most dominant pitcher in 2012. Beach leads the team in wins (3), games started (9), strikeouts (53), and innings pitched (57.2).
Shaun Gaydos (@TherealGDos), Lorain County Ironmen - Shaun was a mid-season pick-up for the Ironmen where he served as the battery mate for fellow Storm teammate, Adam Beach. Shaun got two starts in a predominantly upperclassman league.
Send me your summer stats and I'll include them in the next few posts. Check back throughout the summer and stay posted on Twitter @thecoachscave. RAGE ON!
