The Lake Erie Lasher

Last night you may have been at an incredible rock concert, seeing The Dark Knight Rises for the third time, or just enjoying the summer nights on the shores of Lake  Erie. If any of these are the case, you would have then missed former Lake Erie Storm standout, Ryan Rua (@Rua_Numba_2) belting his third home run of the season for the Spokane Indians in an extra-inning loss to Yakima in Northwest League action.

From the Spokane Indians July 27, 2012 recap on their official website:
The Indians had 10 hits in the loss, including three from Gabriel Roa and a long homer from third baseman Ryan Rua over the Supercuts sign in the sixth inning.
Rua's offensive prowess has him hitting in the middle of the Indians' order, and with his latest home run, has the team lead in round-trippers along with runs batted in (16), total bases (54) and slugging percentage (.372). He currently ranks in the top three in nine offensive categories among Indians' hitters. "The Lake Erie Lasher" ranks in the top 20 in the Northwest League in five offensive categories including hits (T-15th), doubles (T-18th), home runs (T-14th), total bases (15th), and slugging percentage (19th).
